80% NZ Merino Wool & 20% Nylon

A blended wool yarn using wool grown & milled here on the South Island of New Zealand. Merino is characterised by its fine, soft, lustrous fibres. It doesn’t itch, smell or wrinkle easily. It’s naturally warm and moisture-wicking.

The Nylon component in this yarn makes the wool more durable. That means this yarn just as perfect for knitting socks & handwarmers as it is for knitting garments like jumpers, scarves & beanies.

This hand dyed wool is a fun knit and makes a material with a fabulous drape!

+ Knit as Fingering weight 4ply with 2.75-3.25mm needles

+ Each skein is approximately 100g / 400 meters (437 yards)

+ 28 sts x 36 rows = 10cm x 10cm

Because of the hand dying process, each skein will be unique.
