Old New Zealand Six Pence coins on sterling silver hooks.

The coin features a huia bird, a native to New Zealand that is now extinct. They were minted from 1933-1965 and used to be the equivalent of 6 pennies, 1/2 shilling, or 1/40 of a pound.
